Purification #3
This is the third part of the sermon series on „How to break curses & how to be blessed“. If you have not already done so, please read the previous chapters.

The spirit of man, often called the heart of man, is the true man. Our physical bodies consist of all known body parts (such as extremities, human senses etc.), and the same applies to the spiritual body of a man. That means that the spiritual man has a head, eyes, mouth, feet, arms, etc., as Ephesians 1:16-18 confirms to us:
‚I do not cease to give thanks for you, mentioning you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in his knowledge, and may enlighten the eyes of your heart, that you may know what hope is connected with his calling, what riches of the glory of his inheritance he has in store for the saints‘,Ephesians 1:16-18
The heart of man or the spirit of man has eyes!
This spiritual man is called rejected brass, iron and silver in Jeremiah 6: 28-30. According to Numbers 31:22-23, these precious metals must be put through the fire to be clean. Malachi 3:2-3 reinforces this by comparing the sons of Levi to gold and silver. Zechariah 13:8-9 also confirms this by saying that a third of the people are comparable to gold and silver that will be purified by fire.
According to God’s creation, the human spirit is combative and unrulable, as Genesis 32:24-30 says:
And Jacob remained alone. Then a man fought with him until the dawn rose. When the man saw that he could not defeat him, he struck him on the hip; and Jacob’s hip broke while he was fighting with him. And he said, Let me go, for the dawn is rising. Jacob said: I will not let thee go, until thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall no more be called Jacob, but thou shalt be called Israel: for thou hast fought with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, saying, Let me know thy name. And he said, Why askest thou after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my soul is saved.Genesis 32: 24-30
Knowing this, the devil tries at all costs to control, dominate and neutralize the human spirit in order to subjugate man and imprison him forever. To achieve this, he incarcerates man in prisons of darkness or deep holes and constrains him with chains and shackles on his hands and feet so that he cannot move and receive anything from God. Sin and the influence of various spirits work together to trap man and keep him in a place of stagnation. The goal is his exhaustion and destruction so that his life ends there without any motion.
However, before any of this can happen, the devil must try to invade man first. He uses the following ways of invasion:
✦ Food, as was the case with Judas in John 13:26-27:
Jesus answered, He it is to whom I will give the dipped morsel. And he dipped the morsel, and gave it to Judas the son of Simon , Iscariot .And when the morsel was given, Satan entered into Judas .Jesus said to him, „Whatever you do, do it quickly. We see that eating makes a man unclean and occupies him.
John 13:26-27
✦ Eating and / or drinking in a dream (so-called meal of the night). Thus, evil spirits are introduced, which aim at controlling all areas of life and prevent growth and success.
✦ Sexual act in a dream, which is aimed at introducing evil spirits. These spirits can steal blessings and cause diseases of the abdomen, menstrual disorders and misfortune. Sexual intercourse is often used by the devil as a way of making contact and sealing alliances. Likewise, sex is used to place signs and markings on man to determine his affiliation and prove his presence. Thus, he may place devices in man’s ears, antennas on his head, a spiritual eye on his forehead, or other radar devices in his body for satanic revelations.
To get rid of all these evil spells, fire is needed. The fire represents God:
– It liberates: for the loosening of your chains and shackles
– It enlightens: for the expulsion of darkness and its influences in your life
– It purifies: for sanctification
– It consumes: for condemnation and judgment
And it is only then that the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire of Matthew 3:11 will take place:
I baptize you with water that you may come to repentance; but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not worthy to bear his shoes. But he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
Matthew 3, 11
and Hebrews 1, 7:
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh of his angels winds, and of his servants a flame of fire.
Hebrews 1, 7
We are asked to purify our spirits by the fire of Jesus Christ in order to:
1. destroy the works of the devil in our entire spiritual body
2. to free us from the prisons of darkness
3. to lead us out of deep holes
4. to free us from chains and shackles.
Prayer for purification
➳ Yes, I have a bad character, but God knows that and He loves me anyway; He knew my bad character when He saved me and called me by name. He knows I am doing my best to overcome my weaknesses; His grace is sufficient; His power is made perfect in my weakness. I am in Christ; there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
➳ I confess these sins (lying, hatred, hypocrisy, disrespecting my parents, stealing, perjury, apostasy, carnal walk, lust of the eyes, stealing tithes, blasphemy, murmuring, scolding, every vain and empty word that passes my lips).
➳ I ask forgiveness for all this and I repent of all these things.
➳ In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for forgiveness for the sins that connected my parents and ancestors with occultism, witchcraft, incest, ancestral ceremonies and spiritualism.
➳ Wash me with hyssop and the water of purification, which is the word of God .
➳ You, who are the launderers’ soap (=a soap which removes stains, rust and wrinkles), remove my impurity! Turn my dirty clothes into clean clothes, as has happened with Joshua the high priest when he was accused by Satan.
➳ The devil who accuses me according to Revelation 12:10 does not have this power, because I know that forgiveness is a power that liberates. The work of the cross makes me victorious, because they overcame the devil for the sake of the blood of Jesus Christ.
➳ In 1 John 1:9 it is written, if we confess our sins, he is just and faithful to forgive us. I ask you, Lord, to forgive me.
➳ I remember the blood of Jesus Christ that wiped out the certificate of debt that was against me and contrary to me. He took out the handwriting of requirements by nailing it to the cross.
➳ Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me for the scandal I caused by deceiving and leading to believe the worst about myself, about others and about God.
➳ My body and clothes are permeated with stories of the devil, through which he has seized me to oppose me and my prayers. I ask for forgiveness for this.
➳ Lord Jesus Christ, you know my spirit better than I know myself, for you are the Father of all spirits. According to the Word of God, we didn’t receive the spirit of bondage or the spirit of the world. Through food and clothes, the spirit of witchcraft has taken possession of my being. It is written in 2 Corinthians 7:1 that we should cleanse our flesh and spirit to be sanctified.
➳ Let my mouth be set on fire by a purifying fire to cleanse my spiritual walk in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ May the flame of fire burn permanently in the name of Jesus Christ. May every food be burned up that entered my body and wanted to enchant, seize or destroy me.
➳ May the Lord use my mouth to silence enemies and the avenger. May my mouth make him spit fire to confound the adversary in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Psalm 8:2 says „Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger„. The babes and nursing infants represent the children of God who drink the spiritual milk through the preachers of God; thus, the preachers are nursing mothers who give milk through preaching.
➳ May the fire of Jesus Christ consume everything that the devil has put in my ears, so that I do not listen to the way of Satan and demons in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ All the devices of darkness that have been planted in my ears shall be destroyed by the consuming fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ The audible way in darkness shall not sound in my ears in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Every communication that a spirit of witchcraft transmits through my ears shall be interrupted in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Let my spiritual eyes be enlightened by the fire of the Holy Spirit.
➳ Every ensorcelled eye that sees devilish visions shall be destroyed by the consuming fire in the name of Jesus Christ .
➳ Every dream that is connected with demonic powers and shows me demonic ceremonies by veiling reality through a lying spirit shall be destroyed by the consuming fire in the name of Jesus Christ .
➳ My night visions will be fed by the power of Jesus Christ.
➳ I stop and extinguish all visions, revelations and witchcraft dreams that want to bring me desolation or misfortune in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Let the spiritual eye opened by sorcerers be uprooted and destroyed by the fire of the refiner in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Let my soul never be the object of desire of fetishists, sorcerers and occultists in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ The demonic powers from Hades will never defeat me in the name of Jesus Christ, because the gates of Hades will not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ of which I am a member.
➳ Every demonic spirit that wants to attach itself to my spirit, receive the confusion of God in the name of Jesus Christ!
➳ Lord, make me a smooth stone, so that the enemy who wants to cling to me slips, falls and breaks in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Let my feet and hands be kindled by the flame of fire of Jesus Christ, so that I may serve the Lord without anyone holding me fast in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ What is in the hands of the Lord cannot be stolen, snatched, or seized. My hands have become a flame of fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ My belly will never withhold food defiled by demons, for what goes into man does not defile him, but what comes out of man is what defiles.
➳ My stomach will never obey the commands of demons in the name of Jesus Christ. For all swallowed food is crushed and expelled out through the intestines in the name of Jesus Christ .
➳ All ensorcelled poisons cannot harm me, because it is written: „if they drink a deadly potion, it will not harm them“ in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Any meal of the night during dreams that enters my body to harm me, bind me, or introduce various diseases shall be destroyed by the fire of Jesus Christ that burns constantly in my spirit, for the lamp cannot go out in the temple in the name of Jesus Christ.
➳ Whenever something negative enters my stomach, diarrhea shall be the result so that it leaves my body in the name of Jesus Christ.
